PS. Don't tell me you don't like the Russian 1979 adaption. :) It's also pretty loose... Are you kidding?! It's THE movie of my childhood! And that's exactly my reasoning for *maybe* watching this one: if that cheesy adaptation made me so happy, surely I can handle a few flying ships or what not.
